Eid-ul-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice, is a time of joy, gratitude, and sharing. It commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son in obedience to God, and it reminds us of the importance of generosity and compassion for those in need. At Samaj Bikash Samiti, we ensure that the blessings of Eid reach the poorest and most vulnerable families in our communities.
Our Qurbani distribution program is one of the most anticipated and impactful programs we run each year. Through the generous donations of our supporters, we collect animals for sacrifice, handle the slaughter in accordance with Islamic guidelines, and distribute fresh, high-quality meat to families who may otherwise not be able to afford meat during this special time.
We distribute meat to orphans, widows, people with disabilities, and families living in poverty. We also provide meat to marginalized communities, ensuring that no one is left out of the celebrations. Our team handles the entire process with transparency and accountability, ensuring that the distribution is fair and reaches those who need it most.
In addition to the meat distribution, we organize community meals where people gather to share in the blessings of the day. This fosters a sense of unity, compassion, and solidarity within the community. It reminds us that we are all connected and that our blessings are meant to be shared.
Our Qurbani program is a testament to the spirit of giving and sharing that lies at the heart of Islam. It is a reminder that true wealth lies not in what we accumulate but in what we give. Through our program, we enable individuals and families to fulfill their religious obligation while making a tangible difference in the lives of others.
We are grateful to all our supporters who make this program possible. Your generosity brings joy to thousands of families and strengthens our communities.
