Relief that reaches families
Nepal Flood Relief 2026 — Nuwakot
With funding from Blackburn UK Trust, SDC Nepal provided emergency relief to flood-affected families staying at the Holding Centre in Ward No. 5, Bidur Municipality, Nuwakot.
268 families supported — approximately 1,340 beneficiaries.
268 emergency kitchen kits to help families prepare daily meals.
268 children’s education kits to support continuity of learning.
Kitchen kits included pressure cookers, mixer-grinders with two jars, stainless steel jugs and kitchen tools. Education kits included school bags, notebooks, geometry boxes, boxes of pencils and colouring pencils. We thank Blackburn UK Trust and its donors for this support.
