A dedicated giving pathway for donors who wish to support eligible humanitarian and poverty-relief activities through Zakat, Sadaqah or general charitable giving. SDC Nepal will identify the intended fund at the point of donation and apply restricted gifts only to suitable activities. Donors remain responsible for their own religious calculation and should seek qualified guidance when needed.
Community-led infrastructure support may include safe shelter repairs, mosques, maktabs, water facilities and other small public-benefit assets. Projects are considered only after local consultation, feasibility review, land or ownership checks where relevant, a defined budget and clear arrangements for maintenance and community access.
Seasonal support for households exposed to cold weather, monsoon disruption or other predictable hardship. Depending on assessed needs and available funds, assistance may include warm clothing, blankets, essential household items and referrals. Each appeal should state its location, intended use and reporting arrangements before donations are requested.
Seasonal food assistance for vulnerable households during Ramadan and other periods of acute need. Support may include staple food packages, community meals and carefully assessed emergency assistance. Activities are planned according to available funding, local needs and safeguarding standards. Contact SDC Nepal for the current appeal, coverage area and verified donation instructions.
